WHAT PEOPLE SAY
"Being a Scout in Troop 111 was an incredibly transformative and rewarding experience. From my very first camping outing and summer camp at Royaneh as a fifth grader, to earning my rugged scuba diving certification at Emerald Bay and trekking to the top of the Tooth of Time at Philmont, to becoming an Eagle Scout as a high school senior, the friends, mentors, and memories I made in Troop 111 will stay with me my entire life. Not only did I gain handy wilderness survival and first aid techniques, but I learned how to effectively communicate with others, lead a team, and solve conflicts, all of which are essential life skills. Overall, the supportive and collaborative atmosphere of Troop 111 has shaped me into a confident and compassionate member of my community." - VARUN S.
